We have a three way fridge and a propane furnace. The propane is turned off while driving, never had the fridge start to really thaw things out.

We enjoy the flexibilty of adding propane to the possibilties, though rarely find it cold enough to need the furnace. Sure is a good thing to have on those particularly cold occasions though.

I've never actually slept in a bed with an electric blanket so didn't think to add one to our packing list.

Battery Draw on a IKEA #5 warmth quilt inside an IKEA Duvet = 0.0000 amps @ 12 VDC. Warmth under said pile at 22 degrees inside the trailer = Toasty
Total cost: $12 in the IKEA "As Is" room..... Including matching pillow cases.....

Bob, maybe you could harness some of this heat, and use it to actually charge the battery.
