Moderator's note: This topic moved from For Sale forum. FiberglassRV.com does not promote Teardrops (unless they are made of molded fiberglass!), but the additional discussion of the Little Guy's Heating/AC unit is on topic for this site. The implication is that it can be bought separately.

Darwin's original post:

Saw these in a sales lot however they did not have $$ on them. Several different models and could b pulled by anything, even Rogers lawn mower.

On the same site they show an AC/heat unit designed for use with the Little Guy but one that might work great with an egg, too.

Bobbie, That is an even better find than the trailer it’s self. Just the thing for the other egg campers. Could even set on the ground or in the back of a pick-up to connect to the egg. Seams it would solve all those problems/questions that we have seen over the years bout mounting an AC unit to the egg.

It's basically the same as this one advertised for dog houses, which I think we've seen before. But that site says it is discontinued.

Very tempting. BUT, my experience last summer in Texas 100 degree heat with an 8000 BTU (2 hose) portable leads me to believe it is too small for a 13 footer. Best performance I could obtain with my 8000 BTU was a 20 degree differential during the day and about 25 at night.

If it was available for around the same price at 5 or 5500 BTU, I would give it a try.

Not having an A/C is the only thing I don't like about my trailer. And it is a major dislike after summer temperatures this year discouraged me from even going camping.

Curt
