Help, AL-KO coupler

I need help in locating information on this AL_KOBER coupler.
The company that originaly made it does not make it anymore and has no information.
I have spent several long hours on the Computer looking for information.
It's standard equipment on the Lil Bigfoots
I think this was quite common in Canada, England, Europe and Australia.
I attempted to join two Caravan Clubs in England and never heard from them.
There is a handle you lift to disengage the coupler.
It has a saftey lock button you need to depress to allow the handle to go all the way to the point of disengagement.
There is a key way in the button.
I'm hoping someone will help me find a key?

John, I assume you saw the AL-KO coupler keys that are available at the TrailerTeck.com None of the couplers look just like yours but they may be worth asking about vintage keys if you havent already.

John here is another one in the UK at a place called WesternTowing.co.uk that appears to be an Alko generic key. It appears about half way down the page.

Since it is a square tube bolt on-coupler why not just bolt on a new coupler for about $25. All you need to know is the tube size and most everyone carries them. The worse thing you would have to is drill one hole if the holes don't line up. Then you would have a coupler with a visible locking safety pin.

It's not the coupler itself Eddie.
I like the coupler better than anything I've ever used.
This one has a very positive, automatic locking device built into the handle.
The button with the key way has to be depressed to move the handle to the open position.
It would just be nice to have the key.

It's Francesca "missed the key part of your post"...

Many such locks are removable so long as the trailer's unhitched- access to do so being from the bottom. Would removing/taking to a locksmith for rekeying or key duplication be feasible? That's what I did with the doorlock on my Trillium, which had no key when I bought the trailer. It wasn't that expensive, either...

Just a thought!
