Thumbs up

I am asking for my son who will have to be spending a month at the Air Force Base in Witchita Falls, Texas for some added training starting in the middle of April.

He is wanting his wife and new daughter to be with him and the base does not have accomadations for a family with a young baby along. Only places with shared bathroom.

Therefore, they are planning on staying in their 24' Travel Trailer.

They were leaning toward the Burkburnett RV park. I was hoping to get some feed back from you folks on them. Or would one in Witchita Falls be better.

They were thinking, Burkburnett park would be closer to the town, so his wife could walk or bike to things.

Thanks again, I will pass this along to them.

It seems to be two options at this time Burkburnett RV park and Witchita Falls RV park.
It will have to be one or the other, unless there is another RV campground in Witchita Falls.

I spent the night at the Wichita Falls RV park last Fall on my way to Arizona. I only spent one night so I can't be of much help. I can tell you this: the people were very, very nice and the park was clean. I didn't use the facilities, but I believe there was a swimming pool. I was up front and close to the road, so there was some road noise, but I wasn't bothered by it. There were spaces further back that would probably be better for long time use.

I don't know anything about the park at Burkburnett, but I think I would go with the one that made it the easiest for his wife to get around. Like being able to bicycle to the grocery store. If the Burkburnett park has stores nearby, I think that is the one that I would select.
