Hi, we bought a 16ft uhaul last summer

Hi,
We bought a 16ft uhaul last summer. I am a disabled gulf war veteran and my husband, Bob, is retired. This is our first camper and so far we have been having a great time. We live in North Carolina.

: Yes post some Pictures, traveled there many a time to visit one friend we had who owned and restored Studebakers, long way to go from Vancouver, BC but was worth it to see them. Saw a lot of others along the way & now I miss that year of seeing them all.

We have seen two in person, and had a chance to buy one a few years ago. Didn't like it so didn't buy it.

Here are some pictures. We love the camper. We had no idea that it was so rare. We use the bathroom as a closet right now. And do not have a top bunk. We are think of putting a shelf there instead. I’m trying to post pictures. It may take a few tries.

PM me and I will send you a list of the other known owners. Yours looks to be one not on the list which brings the total up to 24 or 25. Have a couple of owners that claim to own one but won’t post pictures. Does yours have a fiberglass bumper?

Nice! I wasn't even aware they made a 16' model, let alone see one. You'll be the center of attention at a fiberglass rally. Thanks!

Like this? The Stair step is just an added storage someone made. The keyholes at the front are for a hammock. what is on the range hood looks like 2 timers?

On the hood are 2 lights that are connected by Velcro easy to take off when needed. The closest has white storage containers from ikea.

Congrats! We owned one of those rare Uhauls for years, until we sold it and bought an even rarer Bigfoot Silver Cloud. We logged many miles and many memories in our Uhaul VT. We hope you do too.
