Looking for recommendations for a hitch installer for my Suby Forester, in Denver, Colo.

Not all U-Hauls are created equal but I've had very good results with the U-Haul at 64th and Wadsworth. Lambert Hitch does a lot of work for dealers but they are quite a bit pricier.

I installed a hitch on my 2012. You might find the thread informative. The wiring is the tricky part. The trailer lights are easy but finding a shop to do the brake and charge lines might prove a challenge. Good luck, Raz

Where do you get all of your other automotive service work done? If they can't do it, they will probably know someone reputable in the business that can.

Thanks. A couple of years ago I'd tackle installing myself, but now my back wont let me! That's why I'm shopping for a Scamp, Burro or casits - can't sleep on the ground in a tent anymore.

The limiting factor on the Subaru is the 200 lb tongue weight limit. That pretty much eliminates all of the Casitas as they tend to be tongue heavy. A thread you might find helpful. Raz

This is where we had ours installed as well. We've been happy with it so far! They were really great to work with, so says my husband.

Not sure where you are located, but for other camper and trailer needs, we LOVE Parker Trailer, right off of Parker and Cottonwood.

If you get a trailer before the end of July you may want to take it down to Durango and join us for the the Rocky Mountain Egg Rendezvous at the Chris Park Group campground.
