Here's our '71 Trail Mite posing in front of Paul Bunyan and Babe at "Trees of Mystery" in Northern California. This is just 50 miles or so from our home in Arcata, home of Humboldt State University.
The shot was taken on our way back from two weeks of wandering around Oregon back in August. We'd gone up for Vic to participate in a mountain bike race, the 12 Hours of Willamette Pass (he got 2nd in his category!) then spent the rest of the time just 'splorin. We went to Crater Lake, did some rides on the trails along the Deschutes River, visited Bend, Sisters, spent a few days camped at Three Creeks Lake where we spent our mornings watching a pair of bald eagles fishing for their breakfast.
All in all, an awesome trip! Today we leave for another 2 week trip as we head south to SoCal to visit our families for the holidays.

Looking at these photos makes me miss my Casita! Augh!
It's sitting all bundled up in its cover, winterized until 2007!

Ok, guys... let's see some winter camping photos of your trailers for the home page! I know you're out there using them somewhere! There's GOT to be some good shots that you're just not sharing! They don't have to have snow, let's just see some nice scenery or unusual winter camping locations!

Sorry, if I tried this one right now I would need chains (or pontoons-dunno can't up there right now) This one was this summer above Ellensburg, WA.

Here's "NEMO", our UNIK, on a pre-Christmas trip to Tyler, Texas (notice Xmas wreath!). That's winter in East Texas, bless its little heart!

I found this picture of our former Scamp from April 2003. This is Mount McKinley (known to Alaskans as Denali). I know we are parked in the wrong lane, but we were on the spur road to the Denali Princess Lodge which was still closed for the season at the time. This isn't really a wintertime picture, but springtime in Alaska is like winter in most other places. Dave

Here is Denali in all its glory. Clear days like this are really precious in Alaska, since the mountain hides in the clouds the majority of the time.
