How COLD is too COLD

Thinking about takeing our weekly Tuesday night camping trip to the White Mt. National Forest and was thinking it just may be too cold to take the Lady-Bug 13ft Boler down the road with temps in the minus 20 degree F.
Should I be concerned about the fiberglass explodeing if I hit a big bump in the road with it so cold.
Last night was minus 29F and by Tuesday they say it may warm up to only minus 15F, a regular heat-wave

Hi Gerry
At least the Boler isn't covered to the roof tops like it was a year or so ago.

I never gave that a thought. Maybe call the Scamp factory and ask them if the fiberglass trailers are safe to pull in the below zero temps..

Yea James but I can deal with snow with a shovel but this cold is something else.
The 4 of us try to stay warm with a huge fire, sitting on a few towels on the pick-nick table playing cards.
The two (usualy the gals) sit by the fire and just one side of them roasts wile we two men freeze....
Ever try to shuffle or deal cards with mittens on? Not a prety sight.

Winter has me stopped. Want to install the new water heater and breakaway switch but may have to work on inside project instead. No garage and trailer is tarped. Still we wish to winter camp next year that was always in the plans with the new used Boler. Right now have to figure out what to do with the tanks

We have a furnace so getting warm is not a problem. Did not think of fiberglass and the cold! Black tank is above the floor so no prob and we have a portable dumping tank. Grey and fresh water are below grade they may need some help; drinking water is easy to move but grey? may have to disco the sink drain and use a pail and bring the water.

boler is 1/16th inch thin-wall fiberglass construction, even the floor of the trailer is 3/16th inch fiberglass? Was -24 yesterday? felt like -30 with wind chill. Will have to do some reading on this for sure on travel stresses when cold.

We don't have any concerns about any water. We bring about a gallon to make HOT coffee and that's it.
The National Forests have out-house and getting a site next to one of them is never a problem.
My Lady-Bug just had a potable water tank to start and that was broken when I got the trailer years ago but we get by with a portable tank. I even installed an electric pump for summer use but in the winter I find just carrying what you will need is enough and useing a wash pan for gray water and the park facilities works best.
It is amazing how cozy the little 13 footer can get with just the furnace but this summer I do plan to insulate the floor.
