Yes there are plenty of nice places to camp and other than 4 days of drizzle the temps are great, but the $ is never good.

This is /was? our first summer with a trailer of any sort. We spent 22 nights in it over 4 separate trips, and loved every minute. The weather was great, my backing up technique is improving, and we weren't visited by any bears!

Hi: All...We managed to squeeze in for 40 nights away. 3 full week trips plus 4 weekend gettaways. I don't care what it cost to camp per nite or what it cost to fillup per day...cause it's in my contract under "Sanity Clause"!!!
Alf S. North shore of Lake Erie p.s. The couple with the Bulgemobile tuggin' the Jeep couldn't get over how "sleek the lines" of "Our Escape Hatch" are. Every time we're out we get those same comments from Wall o MarT lookers to campground peekers!!!

Not nearly enough! But as Dh declines the Casita won't be going out as much. But that is why I was comfortable purchasing the Casita in the first place. From reading here, I knew tucked away in the barn for how ever long his journey will be, it will be waiting for me when the time comes for me to enjoy life again.

Thankfully, I have a wonderful friend who is gonna step in and take care of Dh so I can attend the rally next weekend at Cherry Creek State Park. It will be my first trip out this year and my first solo trip. The rally will be a safe place for me to get my feet wet on traveling alone.

And let me tell you, I am ready!

I used it Two weekends in Quartzsite; in January and in February.
Two weeks in Oregon in July.
Soon to be 1 weekend at Lake Casitas coming in October.

My "friends" have told me I must clear my usage with them, so they can plan on using it when they come to San Diego.

I just bought my Burro in June, and although it is pretty bare inside right now, I slept two night in it in June and plan on a lot of camping in the Fall. It was just too blamed hot to enjoy it here this Summer!

Looking forward to Cherokee by which time it should be "wrung out" enough to enjoy the camping experience rather than just using it as a place to sleep.

When we bought our first RV, we had it parked in the front yard and simply moved from the house to the trailer for a few months so we could figure out how to live in a smaller space.

43 nights so far this year - first trip was in mid April and last will probable be in late October. Hope to get another 5 or 6 nights in before the trailer is put to bed for the winter.
So far this year I have been in 1 province and 5 states, attended 3 Vintage trailer rallys and 3 Fiberglass trailer rallys with another coming up.

Nada! Nope! Zippo! Zero!
This year was a wipeout as far as camping went. Had the trailer all packed at one point and the tow hooked up to it when Joan's mom {98] passed away and my mom turned 101 this year. Between parenting and lawers and insurance companies and banking and etc. ..... this summer has been a wipeout as far as camping went. There's still some clothes that have to be brought back in and then I can start to think about winterizing it .Even the family cottage only got a couple of week-end stints.
We're planning for next year.

23 days with our teardrop, and 5 with the uhaul. We've only owned the uhaul for about 6 weeks. Taking it out for a few days a couple weeks from now. The teardrop's going to a car show overnight this weekend. Since we both are now retired except for some part time work we are considering a trip south this winter for a few weeks. That's the main reason that we bought the uhaul.

Enquireing West Coast Canadian Rodder Mind asks "Which weekend event are you attending this weekend and WHAT are you taking to the show??"
