I feel your pain, I'm in the same boat with you right now. Stick with it, we'll come out sitting pretty at the end.

I know what comparable Bolers sell for and therefore I know what mine is worth on the market. What it is worth on the market is what I'll sell it for.

Interesting.....it seems folks who have made lots of memories or have a lot of blood sweat and tears invested are less likely to turn loose of their beloved trailers at any price.

Ed, does the "make me an offer" go for your lovely Fiberstream as well? You seem pretty attached to that one.

This is fun, keep the answers coming!

My Fiber Stream is not worth "on the market" what it is worth to me. It may fetch about twice I originally paid for it, but my heirs will have to determine what to sell it for after I'm gone.

The major difference is that my Boler 1700 actually IS for sale.....

(Now that I have my Bigfoot 21, the B17 is "surplus to requirements")

For $6000 we could part with the Scamp (toliet, package configuration). The Bigfoot (AC,awning) could be had for $15,000. Then we would have the money to buy ?

We are looking to buy and fixing up a used trailer in a year or two to full time in. When it is fixed up to live in we will be selling our current "Siesta". I told my wife yesterday that selling the Cars, Condo and everything inside of it would be no problem for me, but selling the trailer will be tough. Every time I walk by it in the garage it makes me smile and many times I go inside and sit, thinking of all the fun we had in it last year, and the cool stuff yet to come. When it comes time to sell it, I will look at the condition and market and figure out a fair price, but if I was asked today what I would sell it for, I would have to say 2 to 3 times what I put into it in hopes it wouldn't sell. I'm thinking that fixing up another trailer and making it a home will make the selling process easier in the future.

Don't count on it.

I think I'd just look around the web for the same make/year/model of your camper and see what they are selling for.

Our 2008 Oliver was very pricey when it was new. The company only made about 45 of them so it is very rare. The three or four that have been sold brought significantly more than the original owners paid for them. I have added several very specialized mods and even though "everythingís for sale" unless someone makes a ridiculous offer, I donít think we would be willing to part with it at this stage of our lives.

All this "everything is for sale" talk made me remember a casual get-together of a few years ago. Two brothers were there and one made the comment that "Everything's for sale if the price is right! Even the wife!" The other said "Got change for a five?" and the whole place just cracked up laughing.
