That should have read "Why would an 18 year old want a pop-up." Sleep under the stars.

Ummmm... Went camping with my friends. We used it extensively for about six or seven years. Best $400 I ever spent.

Trailer: 1983 13 ft Burro
Posts: 27
Tent camped and cabin camped since a kid. Purchased the Burro three years ago. Interestingly I had tried to purchase the same Burro 20 years ago but the original owner could not part with it. He had assembled it from a kit. I felt it was a sign when I re-discovered the same Burro so many years later. Up until that time we had tent camped and the ground just seemed to be getting harder with every year. Though we have since purchased a larger 21' (due to increased need)TT I am keeping the Burro for quick backwoods trips, etc. Also, it is a popular guest bedroom. I think the little FGs are the greatest little units, easy to tow, setup and are just comfy, perfect for camping. One of the best purchases I have ever made.

Trailer: Boler 17 ft
Posts: 510
Hubby and I had a devastating business set-back. I suddenly had the idea we needed a travel trailer. (We had tent-camped maybe twice in 15 years, so he was kinda, like, "Wha?")

At a dealership, I looked at a huge, heavy, square stick-built that was so 70s it had orange and harvest gold floral wall paneling and orange counter tops. I loved it! We asked a friend to look it over and he said: "There is a 17" Boler in the Buy-and-Sell for the same price. Fibreglass is light and easy to tow, it will not rot or rust, you should call them now."

I said, "Yeah, okay, I'll call them tomorrow."

He said, "Call them now -- and bring a certified cheque."

I took his advice and am I ever glad I did! Saved our sanity, and since we were both suddenly unemployed, we took a nice long vacation and showed our part of the world to our kid.

I think that's called lemonade.
