Hurricane Irene

Here's hoping none of the members sustained any or at least minimal damage.
Here in York, Pa. we received about 3 inches rain and gusts about 30 mph. I cleared all the gutters yesterday of overhanging branches, secured my outdoor furniture and installed my storm doors on the north side. Also had to secure the fence gate in front of the Egg Camper to keep it from blowing. Basically this is stuff I do in "winterizing" the house, just did it 2 months early. So far, just a little water in basement which is going down the french drains.
Again, hope everyone else is okay all along the eastern seaboard.

Hey Jim. We got gobs of rain and wind. I tied everything down and chained the camper. She came out okay. No damage or anything that I can tell so far. Thanks to the power staying on and our sump pump our basement stayed dry. Hope everyone stayed dry and safe.

We were scheduled to be at a campground in barnegat bay NJ, they were evacuated....so we will now stay there week of Sept 5.

Took the EZUP down, & put the horse trailer cover on. Then hooked up the trailer to the tow vehicle. Heavy rain & wind, but no downed trees. Many branches around camper. Hope everyone else is okay...

It's 111 degrees outside. I was complaining about not being able to work on my Bigfoot today.
I turned on the news and was reminded of what you all in the path of Irene are going through.
I guess I really have it pretty good today in comparison to you East Coasters.
I hope you all come through Irene with no or very minimal damage.
I wish you all the best of luck,
John
