Thanks for the thought. My wife and i checked out the Lil Snoozy, looks well built. We have our hearts set on a rear dinette and front shower. Since we will be pulling the egg with our van conversion, we are looking for an egg with a nice place for relaxing after a day's gold prospecting that will allow us to look out the rear windows to the river-view. Then we will head into the van to get a great nights sleep on our froli sleep system. Basically the van as Bed, egg as breakfast

Congrats Deryk on getting Harry's Parkliner, welcome to the club. Sorry I missed this whole thread but have been busy, and now getting ready to go to Fla early next month.

Congradgulations Deryk! I know it's exciting for you. So sounds like you have a good heater in it as well. That's a big plus as far as I am concern. It extends your camping seasons. Enjoy!

Thanks Diane, yeah Im loving it, spent last night in it. My friend texted me yesterday that he wanted me to move it into his backyard cause he has seena few cars slow down as they were passing his driveway... so for safety I drove down after work and moved it this morning.

Im thinkin of taking it for an overnight somewhere boondocking but need to keep track of the battery since the heater definatly does drink the battery life.

I like the look of that camper. I would like to know more about it. What sort of headroom does it have?

Also, the metal battery strap is a bad idea. It looks like it is lose to touching the positive lead. You really don't want any metal tie downs for batteries. And covers for the positive leads are not a bad idea either.

Thanks Conrad!

Yeah Im likeing the ParkLiner with its 6'5 headroom and 6'3 in the bathroom and 6'10 wide( I havent measured it but Im 5'11`ish lol and I can wear my fedora and not be touching...I duck a little going in and out but Ive smacked my head on boats enough I do it out of habit lol)

Its plenty spacious, the closet is a little narrow and odd shaped because of the shower but on the mini dinette side there is room enough for the queen sized mem foam topper folded up and a winter comforter and a small duffle bag of clothes... for a single guy its fine... have to be more organized for a couple lol.

The big dinette is mainly going to stay down. Yes I could sit 6ppl down to dinner between the 2 dinettes but honestly I dont think I would really want that any people in a 12' long camper lol. At that point I think a 10x10 easy up with sides would be a better plan.

Yeah I need to remove the metal strapping on the batteries and replace it with web...I dont think I have room enough for 2 battery boxes. Its a little tight in their with 2 batteries. I should look for terminal covers.

What deryk said

: ) And IMO Chandler (the Parkliner designer/builder) has done some magic quantum physics 4th dimensional thingy with the Parkliner...when cari and i looked one over before placing our order it was like the inside was bigger than the outside. Very spacious and open feeling. Much more so than any other in similar hitch to bumper size that we'd been in.

Question

Hi deryk, i have a question for you.
My PL will not have the propane tanks on the tongue and i'm thinking about putting an aluminum box up there. I found one and was wondering if you could measure the tongue area and let me (& any who follow this path) if it would fit? Thanks in advance if you are able to help. If it fits i will go ahead and place an order once i find the best deal online.

: ) Thom

Well 2 weeks out is just fine if it works out in your plans. Obviously with my PL arriving in April i have some time : )

Maybe Tim will see this and have a go at measuring his.

Thanks!
