I had previously decided the perfect size RV for me would be a 15' only to find out at the summer gathering that no one made a 15' any longer, nor were my chances of finding a used 15' very good. I was really bummed out.
I decided that my next best option might be an Escape and I'd have to settle for the 17'. When I heard that Trillium and Escape had merged and were going to begin making the 15' again I could not have been happier.
I've already e-mailed Reace and Tammy several times with questions. Tammy has been so kind and answered all my questions in a friendly and timely manner. I think she'll end up being a good friend before all this is over. I'll have it for the Spring NOG and the summer event at Bullards Beach. Y'all will have to come by and visit me during the trailer tour.

Kathy, what made you decide on the Escape vs the Trillium 15 footer? Was it the all wood interior? Any other advantages?

Sweetheart of a deal. Will it be ready for May??
You can break it in at our May meet located about 40 minutes west of Chilliwack.
Escape (usually) puts you up for one (or two) nights stay at a very close (to them) R/V park so you can try everything out and make sure its all 'good to go'. They will come out to you there IF you have any issues in that short break in time IF you have issues.

It was the wood interior that made me decide on Escape vs Trillium, plus the fact that I met Reace and Tammy this summer and they are super nice people so I knew working with them would be painless! I am really looking forward to this whole process. Being able to pick options is great!

Tammy thinks it will be ready by February. That's in time for an annual trip to the Oregon Coast to watch the rain fall. Then there's the spring NOG that I can attend. And who knows how many other trips before the Oregon Gathering at Bandon.

Cathy---our eggs will be in incubation at the same time (we are getting the "older" #1 trailer!!!!)

We went with the escape model instead of the trillium because of the nice wood interior...

Our Boler is going to its new home on Sunday and we just bought our "new" tow vehicle today---yeah okay we are rushing it, but we have it already!!!! A 2005 Ford Ranger Supercab....Will get Fred to do the weighing at Bandon next year and we WILL be legal!!!!!!

Cathy--I think we were talking at the meet and greet in Bandon last summer..... you were with your walking partner right???????

Yes! That's right. I'm the red head that came with Dave K. Back in April as we were training for our first half marathon he was at Champoeg State Park and I drove down Sat morning so we could walk. I met some nice people and saw the possibility of being able to camp again (my Ex and I had a motorhome that he got custody of in the divorce). And since I refuse to sleep on the ground any more, a small fiberglass RV is perfect for this single gal.
When I heard about the gathering at Bandon I invited myself along. What a great group of people. Everyone made me feel welcome even though at that point I was not "official" yet. Didn't take long to get hooked on the eggs!
