Wow, never tried them in Bloody Marys, and I wonder about dirty OKRA'd Martinis. Hmmmm. have to try that.

Frederick l. Fried is good, but young tender buttery salty peppery and yes, sliiiimmmy ones rock.

Now, my good friend, Alf,

That's an interesting question....I do know that if they served them in a Chinese Restaurnt in Okrahoma, they would be called Okla. Does that help?

I always try to help.

Most any veggies are great when they are grilled.

Fried or now days backed in the over is how I like them. But grew up eating them boiled and I still like them that way at times, but not so boiled, steamed. I need to go to the Farmer's Market tomorrow morning to get some. Hope they are in season by now.

I will have to look, too, but most of those I see in the stores are pretty sad looking. Better than none, though.

Hey Deserthawk, any possibilities you can come up in September for the Get-Together?

Regards,

keith

You must mean:
Fall Get Together Colorado Style
Sept 17th thru the 19th
Finally a Colorado Get Together at Cherry Creek State Park http://parks.state.co.us/parks/cherrycreek...yCreekHome.aspx
http://www.reserveamerica.com/camping/Cher...dex=CampingSpot

Not sure what September will hold for us at this time. We are expecting a new grand-daughter to arrive sometime in September.

Thanks for asking.
