The couple that bought my Burro just left with it. They have been lookin for a nice Egg for over a year.
They drove out here from Toledo Ohio to pick it up. That was a drive of over 2300 miles.
Are we Egg owners just a little nutty?

John,

We must all be a little nutty. We drove from Louisiana to South Carolina for a Scamp 5th wheel, sold it earlier this year and it now resides in Washington state. That's what you call coast-to-coast in one year's time!

I was seriously considering purchasing a trailer that was about 2200 miles from me. It would have been (at least) a 4400 mile round trip. I really wanted it, but I just didn't have the time to go get it. ... and yes, I even considered having it shipped.

Lemme think... we went from eastern Iowa to Spokane, WA for the Scamp 5th wheel (and back) and ended up selling it to folks from Georgia. In the last seven or eight years, I've had buyers who have come to eastern Iowa to pick up trailers from Lake Tahoe, Seattle, upstate New York, Chicago, Georgia, Las Vegas, St. Paul, Santa Rosa CA, and three from various locations in Michigan! Not all were fiberglass, but it never ceases to amaze me how things things move around the country.

I drove from Anchorage, Alaska to the Casita factory in Texas to pick up my new trailer in 2004. Round trip was over 8000 miles. I know another guy in Anchorage that did the same trip in 2005. Strangely enough, my wife got a transfer to Arkansas last year and now we and the Casita live only 300 miles or so from the factory. I guess we should have waited!

I got ya all beat.

I had to go to...

Pasadena!

It wasn't that far in miles, but it WAS a different planet.

I was in South Elmonte last week. Any place in the L. A. basin area is another planet as far as I am concerned.

We pulled the Scamp from the west coast to the factory in MN just to get a front cabinet. The shippers wanted big $ because it was too big! Nice trip anyway.
