A while back 60 Minutes did a piece on Bill Gates. In it they asked him how he managed to get everything he did done and how he could be involved in so many things. He replied "I don't cut the grass". I was thinking about this yesterday and although I don't intend to quit altogether I am certainly going to cut back on this dadgum grass cutting business. Although it does look better cut longer grass is not all that bad, and I think I can get used to it. Especially if I am down the road camping and don't have to look at it.

We have the grass issue, we're in Newfoundland to July. Fortunately our wonderful nature cuts our grass out of kindness (and filled our flower boxes as well.) When we're gone for the whole summer we pay a neighbor...something less than $100 for the year.

Our rock filled walkway is another matter, the weeds take over and it takes a while to straighten that out.
