Talking If I Haven't Been "Sighted!", do I really exist???

Hi, Y'all

I've had my Trillium since 2005, coincidentally the very same year that Gina D. started the http://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/f...ngs-21472.html thread.

In the intervening years, I've towed that puppy nearly 50,000 miles all up and down the West Coast, mostly on public roads and in broad daylight. I've parked overnight in every rest stop on I-5 from the Canadian Border to Los Angeles, and in a fair majority of those on the same stretch of U.S. 101...not to mention those on I-90 from Seattle to Spokane. I've overnighted at too many Walmarts to enumerate; I've bought gas at hundreds of gas stations; I've obstructed traffic on every single mountain pass this side of the Rockies.

Heck, I once accidentally wandered onto a parade route during the parade!
..........

And yet:

In seven years and (as of this moment) 2,079 posts in the "I saw a fiberglass trailer" thread here,
No one reports having "Sighted!" my trailer!?!?!

And believe you me, I've checked!

The question I've begun to ask myself is: If no one has seen me, what proof is there that I exist at all?

As a last-ditch effort, I've decided to post a picture of my rig, exactly as it has appeared for the last seven years of travel- perhaps lacking a few more recently added dents/dings/Sierra pinstripes. I'm hoping against hope that someone will be able/willing to report that I have in fact been "Sighted!", thus reassuring me as to The Fact of My Existence...

Thanks, I hope!

Francesca

P.S.

Of course, it wouldn't really count unless it's also posted in the http://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/f...ngs-21472.html thread, so if you don't mind.....

F.

All I see in the photo is an empty parking lot and two trees.

But...surely now that you've seen a recent picture you..."recall"....something deeply buried in your memory...it's only now surfacing...think, Carol!...and go to your computer and bring up the site...and click on "Sightings!"...and begin to type...

By the way, and strictly having nothing whatsoever to do with this discussion:
I put one of these in the mail for you just this very minute, aware as I am that you are taking up a collection for a Very Worthy Cause:

Your really truly Good Friend,

Francesca

ON EDIT

Wait- that's wrong- it was one of these that I put in the mail:

Talking OK, we need someone to audit that Thread!

How could we have missed you?!?

Within that thread there are many, many posts of members sighting other Molded Fiberglass Trailers while out-and-about or driving.

How many members have reported back that they were the one that got sighted? I don't think very many at all. That means that everyone that hasn't confirmed that they were sighted... well you unconfirmed people don't exist either!!!

I however, have proof that I do exist.
Page 28, posts 384 - 388, and 391.

Well, DUH!

It only counts if you're seen by others...else why would Paris Hilton, for example, even exist?

Really, Frederick- I'd think you'd know better!

My hopes of Existence-Verification presently rest entirely on Carol, who has- er- "admitted" that she's been in more or less the same territory (or at least the same hemisphere) as I have in the last oh-so-many long years....

This is kinda like the question "If a man speaks in the forest, and no woman hear him, is he still wrong?".

I have sighted many 100's of eggs in my travels, and other than in campgrounds at rallies, I have no idea who any of them are.

Ken you may be waiting awhile. Historically I have found most folks dont like to broadcast their on the road incidents - kind of like the boat owner who puts a big beach towel over the transom if they run aground so know one can see the name of the boat I am still waiting to see someone post in regards to an Escape spotted by several folks on the back of a flatbed in September that clearly had gone wheel side up.

That's "bobwarr", Alf...when will you Canadians start speaking English???

As for your assertion, all I can say is: Excuses, excuses- I KNOW you've seen the not-so-secret map showing where the "leak hole" is!

But in case you've "misplaced" your copy:

Haven't taken my burro to Canada, but I've printed the map for next summer. Since the kids are in the US, I need to be sure I can make it back.

Francesca, I keep looking - I'm on Mar Vista -- you haven't driven by yet, but it may have been during a potty break.
