I'm a loser

Man I hate losing stuff. Bought the new hinge kit, and we've been having snow and icy weather and now that I want to install the hinges, I can't find them. Probably with the Coleman lantern parts I put away and can't find.

Dang, I hate when that happens. I used to blame the kids but can't do that anymore and my wife won't believe me when I say her bird hid it .

Just order another replacement set and as soon as they arrive you will find the missing one. At least that's how it works for me.

Even though a somewhat off topic thread already, having it turn into a heated debate on playing lotteries seems to fit in somewhere between religion and politics. Both these topics are disallowed for discussion here, so I removed all reference to them.

Do play nice, and no more mud slinging.

And please help Bill find his hinges for heavens sake.

I have done this myself quite a few times, when it hit the point I really needed what I bought, but could not find it. Make sure you keep one of the receipts for return though.

When I find myself unhinged, I just go to my happy place, relax with an adult beverage and, before you know it, my brain kicks in and I get rehinged!

LOL feel for you Bill been there and done that a few times to often of late!

Adding to the problem is I have a service dog in training living with me who is learning to pick up dropped items.... only problem is he will sometimes pick them up off the floor when not asked and put them away someplace he thinks is a good idea at the time. Was missing my truck keys for 2 days once until while vacuuming I found them hidden under a piece of furniture. Was glad to find them as it meant I had not totally lost it!! Yet!

The great part of reaching this time of life is that you can hide your own easter eggs . Can be more challenging than you would think. Lee

Well I know exactly where Bills hinges are, with my new rocket pump faucet and danged if both those buggers didn't pick a darn good hiding place.

Have you tried calling out Ollie-Ollie in-come-free? Used to work when we played hide-n-seek to bring the well hidden out. I tried but maybe they are both hiding at Bills' place?

The only other way I know to find them is go to your sock drawer and find an single, unmatched sock.. then search till you find the mate. The missing hinges will likely be there also, along with Jimmy Hoffa's body.

Advantage of full-timing??

Suggestion to Mr. Bill - if you were full-timing in your Boler you would only have about 120 square feet of living space and nine cubbyholes to search.

I don't think you should rush it, but it's been three days, any luck?
