'Glad you like my decor. Themeing our trips makes camping that much more fun. As to the kitchen area...we mostly cook and eat outdoors. The sink/burner area is pretty basic. On the back of the counter, next to the wall, I keep mostly utilitarian items. I have 4 brushed steel canisters
Oggi Airtight Stainless Steel Canisters with Acrylic Tops (Set of 4) - Bed Bath & Beyond that usually hold homemade granola and cookies, coffee, and oatmeal. There is a container of Camp Soap, a tumbler (with an owl motif) with toothpaste and toothbrush. Sometimes I hang, from the closet knob, a kitchen mitt and potholder matched to the theme (not this time). It would be too expensive to theme the bed comforter so I simply put the themed blanket or towel on top of the made-up bed. (see photos of my other 2 Native American-themed fleece blankets from
Home - Native Fleece). I usually keep the bed in the "down" position and drape the other blankets over the "couch". During our last trip to Utah I had fun rotating the location of the blankets, including on our outdoor camp chairs, creating a new look each day!
The other themes I have (or in progress) are: Hiking in the
Fall, The Tropics and The 1950's. I will post photos of these when I can. Our trailer is housed one hour from our home and I do not go there often.
I LOVE to see what others have done with decor. Please post your gems!
Happy Camping!
