It sounded like their production numbers keep going up every year. Pretty impressive results during the global economy slow down.

Each one of their units are custom made in that they are sold before being made, great business philosophy.

Yup they also filled a big market void when Bigfoot stopped making trailers for a number of years. I dont think Bigfoot is even going to try to get that biz back now that they are back in biz as Escape has clearly taken a very strong hold of what was once Bigfoots market of the 17' to 19' fiberglass trailers.

Yup they do lots of custom work orders that the likes of Scamp and Casita will not do - noticed though that both of them have changed there standard equipment lists of late to try and compete with what Escape was offering as standard as Escape has clearly taken a bite out of their markets as well. Unlike Scamps for example you can see that Escapes even in their short life have changing & are using newer products each year & features as they are introduced into the trailer world - while its hard to tell the difference between a 25 year old Scamp and a new one other than the electrical and water got moved to the correct side. Everything else inside is pretty well the same - other than the fridge :-)

There is something to be said in defense of a simple solid design that is consistent. Really nice when you can still order parts from the manufacturer 25 years later. Even an ice box.

Innovation is cool, being able to order a new door latch and hinges 35 years later? Priceless!

Yup that is cool but it has little to nothing to do with the trailer manufacturer - thats the manufacture of the parts thats still making them.
