As a few people on this site know we are looking for a Bigfoot 5th wheel.....but we didn't have a truck. We were doing the "which came first the chicken or the egg?" routine.

We had been used truck shopping for a couple weeks semi locally with no luck finding any truck that would work. We had very specific needs so we looked on ebay and found exactly what we wanted but didn't bid. It didn't sell so we called the dealer and struck a deal. One minor problem, the truck was just south of Salt Lake City.

So Sat. we hopped on a plane and Sun. we drove our truck home. The weather was bitterly cold but it worked out just fine!

We are very excited we have wanted a Cummins diesel for about 10 years, now we have one!

Thumbs up

Is that 4-wheel drive? Looks kinda tall... ...so your Bigfoot will have a high-lift axle?

Yes and yes. We need the 4x4 to pursue our fishing habit, we like to go off the beaten path. Now whatever trailer we buy will be made to fit this truck. Hopefully this will be "The Setup". the final set up!

Way to go Lizbeth, that's a beauty of a truck and a diesel to boot. We've been doing the same thing for about a month but hadn't found a truck that made us want to buy it yet.
Now go get that Bigfoot!

Gina...it would have to be a one ton to qualify for B.A.T., so it's a M.A.T. Eric has named it S.T.a.N.

No Alf, I have to run and jump.

Hi: Frederick... Would that be"The Tow Vehicle Hurdles", or the 10m. "Dash"???

We are looking for some way to make it easier for ol' mom (me) to get into. Eric has an aversion to anything chrome so I have been looking at the options that come in black.

Phil we are looking at chips to increase economy, it already has plenty of power! This is a new idea to us so there is research to do.

Eric,
All you have to do is stand next to the open door, interlock your fingers and place your hands between your spread knees. Then Lizbeth can step right in! Just like helping a gal into a saddle when a stump isn't handy. 'Course it's not much fun when her boots are covered with mud...but a fellers gotta do, what a fellers gotta do.

Congratulations on achieving 1/2 your quest!
