About that latter thing, driving to meet me wasn't brought up until later..... originally I was going to drive to David's house to complete the transaction. Then he listed it, I wrote to him and asked what his intentions were, he replied sorry but he just got confused, and then he said he'd see if he could meet up with me at a
rally in Ontario (which would 800 miles each way off my drive). I thought, wow what a stand-up guy, he's really nice. I thought he wanted to make up for his error by meeting me partway, and I again offered to send him a deposit to prove I was going to follow through. When the 'sold' notice came, I had to read it twice to believe what I was seeing.
