It was Spring here last week but as of this morning, 28 was the low, winter is back and I'm really tired of the wind. We thought we would be pulling the Casita out of it's winter quarters but now I'm thinking it might be a little soon. Next month we'll be heading for Seminole Canyon State Park in the warm and luscious West Texas area. Yes, we are in West Texas but just not far enough WEST, apparently. Flannel sheets are still a must so it means cold temperatures. The lettuce, kale and chard are loving it but not the aparagus. Enjoy the cool times.

Spring is having a hard time trying to make up its mind. A little sun, a little snow, a little rain, At least its not freezing cold.

Yesterday, here in Maple Ridge, it DID manage to climb to a comfy 62 degrees.

the coyotes and snakes are making mass appearance here in the desert. When the snakes come out.. its spring.

Time to leave LOL!

Yep, spring has sprung in Ohio. Spent yesterday weeding the perennial beds and putting down the little bit of mulch we use each year. Planted the little pine tree we have had on our porch since Christmas.

Got our Casita out of storage on Friday but didn't think it would be prudent to de-winterize it just yet.

Got to love it. Terry

We heard it was to be a warm spring weekend on the coast, and we heard it was in most of westerner Washington, but NOT on the coast! A stormy March Saturday at Grayland, WA. Had we stayed home we'd have had a warm sunny day, but it was still good to be at the ocean, if difficult to keep feet on the ground in the high winds! Oh yea, rain too! Hello Spring!

Here's a few pictures from our first trip of 2010
