Is this a molded lightweight fiberglass RV?

Yes, I believe they were molded fiberglass. Nice looking, too.

That is fantastic! I love it! I have looked at a few of the older SunRader fiberglass Toyota motorhomes, but that's the first one I've seen on a Datsun. Most of the older ones don't have air conditioning, which is a deal-breaker for me, though...

Inside photos would be nice also.

Now that's what a Scamp motorhome should have looked like.
I had a 1973 PL620 and all I can say is...You've got a place to stay when it breaks down!
That "Li'l Hustler" chassis is not a bad choice though...
I saw one once with a Holmes wrecker body on it.

B 4 U rebuild the carb, run a couple cans of "SeaFoam" through the fuel system. It is the strongest stuff a non mechanic can buy and it is at your local auto parts store. Around $10UDS a can.

I always loved those RV's on a small pickup body and never understood why people stopped buying them. With $4 gas, they should seem like a no-brainer. In other news, Ford is killing off the Ranger and won't bring its new "world" small pickup to the US market. Meanwhile Chevy will be introducing an entirely new small pickup in Thailand (!) this month and it will be sold in the US.

Wow, that is so cool. What a great little camper!
Yesterday, I gave two thumbs up to a non-fg camper on a baby toyota pu chassis at Aldi's parking lot. It's so great to see the vintage stuff still rolling.
Good luck!

It looks to me like something fairly ordinary that has had 15psi of air pressure put in it....

Hi: Terry G...Yepper! The Ranger is dead...Embrace the Frontier!!! If I back up to fast when hooking up; our 5.0& Nissan could look like sean m's Datsun.
