Has any one heard of this trailer?

It's a 1965 Eriba Familia

I found i and it looks like i might be fiberglass.

I don't know yet how much the owner wants but he seems like he might sell.

I will keep you posted.

I have pictures in e-mail but i don't know how to transfer them here.

It is a larger version of the Puck, with some nicer ammenites.

It is not 100% glass, but it gets honorable mention..

I hope you are not talking of the one in the eBay "22 trailer" ad. I emailed him. He is short and to the point, he wants 4k for that one. Thats actually so cheap I am skeptical. A puck in OK condition is worth that.

Send me the pics, I will post.

An Eriba Familia (or others models), is made of welded steel tubes, with Aluminium siding.
then their is some fiber glass shell on the roof.

Harvey has sent me pictures of this trailer. I will post them when I get a few minutes today (Have to save and convert)

It looks pretty rough, Harvey. It's seen a LOT of water inside. Structure should be fine, (As noted, it's a tube frame and Alum. siding.. the top is glass) but some of the interior fittings and canvas are probably toast. Those cushions

This is not the type of trailer that you want to go modding and changing if you have a financial interest in them. They are collectors items and restoration is the desired thing for resale.

It also looks like it still has the Euro running lights on it. Has it been converted to US standards.. is the electrical set up for 110 or 240?

It is a nice find for a project tho. It can be brought back to life!

I doubt it.
The frame is not of stainless steel neither it is galvanised.

There is an interesting website about the restoration of an (large) Eriba Titan.
It shows a lot of photos of the process.
The url: http://www.eriba-titan.nl
Here is one of a part of the original frame.

Having seen the pictures (Which are an odd format as far as Yahoo is concerned) I don't think it is that bad yet.. Window leaks and pretty scary canvas at the pop up.

but, ya never know until you get into it.

Here are the pictures I was able to get open. The back cushions look about the same.

4k is about right for it, I guess, but look REAL close at the rest.

Thats all I can salvage. Lex may have a point in looking at the seams from the glass top... lotsa water has run in there.

I looked at a puck once that actually had holes and pits in the tongue, right near the body. Had no idea of it's history.. may have been stored in a puddle!

One yank... tongue goes with car, trailer stays put. Good milage that way LOL!

Curiously, that looks like a British 'number plate' under the California plate.

If so, it was last towed by a 1971/72 car as the plate ends in a 'L' (in Britain, a trailer carries the tow car's plate, not its own).

If you don't think any of that information is useful - I agree!
