Okay, I guess I'm really a member of the club now. We bought a 1994 16' Scamp with a side dinette today. It seems to be in really nice condition. Sorry, no pics today. It was getting dark by the time we got home. I'll see if I can get a few tomorrow. The light wiring appears to be a little funky, but I'll get that sorted out. Everything else seems to work. It's got factory installed AC under one of the side dinette seats. I like that; it keeps the profile lower. No shower, just a porta-potti, which was also what we wanted. We usually camp where there are showers, so a shower in the camper is just a waste of space for us. At 55, the porta-potti is kind of a necessity though!

I'm already planning mods...the great part of buying a used unit, no warranty to worry about.

Anyway, now we just need some decent weather around here, so we can go camping!

Yes, it was on the Des Moines craigslist. Actually it was Pleasant Hill, a suburb.

Here are some pics of the new to us Scamp.

I didn't have much time, so the mattress is still rolled up under the table. We probably won't use the rear dinette much, so the bed will stay made up.

*Re adjust Thinker* You have a trailer now.. to heck with the weather

There is nothing like sitting in your trailer when the weather is crumby.. it's like a mini soup day!

Looks like you did pretty good!

So, I should sit in my camper and listen to the snow drift? We have a winter storm watch for tomorrow! Yuch!

Actually, what I need is for summer to get here and school to get out. I teach, so I can't get away much until mid-June.
