The northern 1/3 to 1/2 of North America's temperature is well below normal. Greenland is 10 degrees below normal.

Summer is here in FL. Yesterday's high was 98F. Surprisingly to us it was quite comfortable. There always seems to be a breeze here. We do not have AC in our Scamp 16. Every afternoon somewhere between 3 and 5 we hit the pool, temperature 82-84. Night times quickly drop to the 60's.

Reporting from the Escapee Park in Wauchula (Central), FL

April showers bring May flowers.
April snow showers kill all the flowers.

Alf S.

I hate to say it but we're leaving in the morning for New Hampshire. We're usually in the same situation as others and particularly this year, returning home from our travels in early April. This year brought the Casita back to our son in Maine in early April and returned to FL to pickup our 'new' 1981 Scamp 16.

Sorry if I caused any envy. Actually the most interesting aspect for us was how well we were able to adjust to high temps (98) without air.

May spring come to all,

Norm

I have got to get down south and retire already... Seeing all of you out this early in the season, or having an annual makes me jealous... No snow up north in Saskatchewan ( above the dakotas and montana ). But the weather is no where close to camping fun yet... keep it up, love the picture!
