Rob,

worry not about your translation. We are all using Babelfish, and reading back the italian I did for you, when converted BACK to english.. it is very funny.

We understand the bulk, and if a word or two are humourous, we enjoy anyway.
Dear Gina
I will be a great comedian on fiberglass whit my english... hehehe!!!!

Grazie, Roberto.

I am a retired electronics engineer (computers) and my wife is a retired radiological technician (medical). We live in Silver City, New Mexico (USA):

Silver City

We lived in Milano during the mid 1970s and I got to see most of your wonderful country. And I made many new friends while there. I returned three times during the late 1980s and could see great changes throughout the country.

Ciao

Thank you very much, Rob. Your photos which show the connection of the Al-Ko stabilizer are very informative.
Grazie molto, Rob.

The Tunesi stabilizer is the style which I have seen (in photographs) before. It is very much like our North American "weight-distributing hitches".

Your translations are very helpful. Thank you for including the Italian as well; it is an opportunity for me to learn some Italian!

Ciao Morgan,
tu hai vissuto in italia?

Hello Morgan,
you have lived in Italy?
if you decide to return I I will organize a rally of Italian's caravan for you.
Italy is changed a lot in last the 20 years, there are many more automobiles in the roads... and much more traffic... hehehe!!!

Perhaps in Italy there is a sovraffolamento problem... we are too many Italian we and this is not a good for one nation.
I live to Rome and must say that it is much chaotic one... is chaotic for me that are Italian... I can imagine that for one foreign would be terrible!

In Italy there are very many historical cities, they are all beautifulst ones, and this is sure one resource. But there is still much disorganization.

In Italy there aren't only city, are also many naturalistic places that they make to appreciate our country in all Europe.
Sure the wide spaces lack us that you have and that to me he would very appeal to to visit

ciao
Rob

very compliments.
Deve fare molto caldo!!!

post scriptum: I have seen the link to the Silver city. The city is wonderful as the state in New Mexico... very compliments.
It must make very warm!!!
it seems the ideal country in order to turn with the caravan!

Questo stabilizzatore è molto efficace nelle alte velocità
This stabilizer is much effective one in the high speeds

These instead are magnetic small mirrors, our friend has said to us that they are many bonds and they do not have vibrations when is travelled
Also I had thought to acquire them!

I have never seen magnetically-mounted towing mirrors before. Perhaps they are used only in Europe. I am surprised that they hold well enough.

Many years ago, it was common to use large mirrors which were held on the door (or front fender) with straps.

Now, the more common solution is to attach the extra mirrors to the original mirror.

For some models of trucks, there are mirrors available which extend when needed for towing, so no extra mirror is needed; unfortunately, they are not available for our smaller cars and vans.

Since the need to see is the same in North America and Europe, it is interesting that we do not use the same kind of mirrors.

Thank' Brian, I uderstand.

In Italy there are many types of mirrors, magnetic or that they are coupled to the mirrors of the automobile

I like these that extend them selves, that you have spoken... they are genial.
sin that these mirrors do not work for the automobiles

Very pretty! The wood makes it seem cozy. Sometimes I wish our Burro could have a little wood inside (I posted a picture that I posted before.). Maybe in the future.

And thanks for posting the pictures. We certainly enjoy them!

Ciao Rob,

I lived in Milano for one year with my family. I was working for General Electric with Pignone Sud who was our European licensee for computers.

I traveled frequently to Pignone Sud's Factory in Roma. I usually stayed in Frascati close to the factory.

I did not drive in Roma, Milano was bad enough. I took the train to Roma (Termini) and took the train from Termini to Frascati.

I think the problem with traffic in Italia is not so much population density but ancient cities. Here all our cities are new, yours are very old. Of course it is very sad when it is necessary to demolish ancient artifacts to build a road.

Silver City is in the piedmont, so it is not hot. It rarely exceeds 32ºC. When you and Susy come to the USA, come to New Mexico and see us.
