What were they thinking?????

Somehow I think, that in about 5 years, that their Retro look will become the Edsel of Winnebago models..... and on the used motorhome market, will be selling for under $10,000, if that.

That is how you finance your purchase.

"Growing" means that the husband and all three wives are working and bringing home big paychecks.

But, just wait a few years, I'd bet $10,000 will get one in 5 or so years. In short, if you buy one on a 10 year note, you will never be able to sell it for what's still owed.

No one mentioned gas mileage. An 80 US gal tank ~ 303 litres. @ todays price of $1.403/l that is $425 / fill up.
This site says ~ 7mpg = 560 miles per fill

A couple in our camping group just purchased a new 36 ft Allegro Class A Motor Home (They had a 32 Ft.) They can not understand how my wife and I can go on 30 to 40 day trips in our 17 Ft Casita . When I asked them why they purchased such a large vehicle at 75 years of age ,there answer was "Creature Comfort" . Who am I to question their decision ,it's their money ,and if they can afford it so be it.
A Fiberglass egg suits our needs but it's not for everyone.
