It's been a long time

Hallo

It's been over a year since I last posted a message so just wanted to say Hi!. We didn't get many days in the Trillium last year as we were doing a serious renovation on our new-to-us house.

I managed to find a beautiful Trillium 4500 at the end of last summer - the difference in the bunk and bed size is substantial! Our plan last year was to drive down through Washington / Oregon and Northern California but it got put off due to work until this spring.

After a lot of discussion we have decided we will be selling our 1976 13' Trillium (Hazel) - it's too much work to winterize and maintain 2 trailers over a BC winter. I built an overhang off my shop but it can only 1 trailer.

Anyway, since I am starting from scratch with the 4500 I will be posting all the updates as I go along - hopefully everyone will find it as useful as other posts I have done. Still trying to figure a name for her

Cheers,
Booker

Welcome back to FiberglassRV Booker. Glad you found your way back to us

Now, you know we love pictures... have any you care to share of your new-to-you 4500?

Hi Donna,

Not yet, it's still tucked away in the over hang - we are working on getting our 13' all tidied up for sale.

I had been looking for a 4500 for the past 2 years but they are scarce in BC, I have only seen a few of them this side of the Rockies. My wife was talking to another parent at our son' school and mentioned the trips we had done with our Trillium - by happen chance her dad had a 4500 and was planning on selling it after the summer and would be willing to hold it for us.

I paid what he asked for as it was very reasonable. I had not realized that trailers had increased so much in value over the past few years until I starting doing price searches today - turns out he gave me an incredible deal. All it really needs is new tires and an awning.
