It reminds me of how our mid-Michigan weather man, Chuck Waters, used to always wind up his forecast:
And that's the weather... whether or not.

When I was in the Air Force I was forced to live in Rantoul I'll almost froze to death. When I retired from the military this Florida boy hightailed it back home. I love rambling around this country but only in cold country in the summertime

I understand you, but at least up here we don't have alligators, rattle snakes, killer bees, fire ants or hurricanes.
Some might say cold is worst than these. ;-)

Most of the snow is usually gone by mid-April up here, but this year it better warm up soon if we want to see some grass before May.
:Carl just go down to your local Pot Store and buy some good weed, roll it and smoke it and you'll see some green grass pretty quick eh!

Seeking a relief from winter, we left VT after the late winter storm that dumped those 15 inches of snow. Remember? I de-winterized on the way south and hosed off the white coat of salt. Then spent a balmy week on the beaches at Ft. Pickens, kayaked on the Blackwater River, watched the Blue Angels practice and reveled in other warm weather activities. On the way back we watched the spring blossoms at the Great Smoky Mountains, visited Gettysburg and then got home on the heels of this storm. Yes, it is just weather, no matter what they say, but I hope I don't have to winterize the Scamp again. (Most probably not.)
