Jim has a 19' Escape. I'm a car nut also, and I don't know for certain if Jim is serious or not, but it's HIS money and life is short. Whatever he decides, I'm glad for him, even if it is a joke.
Have a great day, David!

It's the 21' that's coming soon; Jim has the 19' and has expressed interest in the 21'... even other than on April 1st!

Me and the wife do a lot of 4x4ing and camping.. real bushwacking stuff.. We get bugged constantly about our 'high class RV camping'
between my cherokee and her samurai, and our Boler it's tough to find time to use them all as well as keep them in repair.. but if you want it to happen, it happens somehow.

Anybody check the price of a Shelby Cobra? The 289 cu. in. sells for about 20 new Escapes and the 427 cu. in. sells for over 1 million dollars . I'll stick with my cheap 1965 Sunbeam Tiger AND my cheap 1980 Bigfoot. Jay's is nicer than mine.

I'm going to wait until April 2 to weigh in. BUT if the 19' is going up for sale... let me know!

Tom called it, all right!
I'm proud to say that I pulled a good one on my soon-to-be 13 year old Granddaughter. We're going over to the ocean for a couple of days this week to celebrate her birthday, and she and seven friends are getting a cabin all to themselves. They've been planning for months...
This afternoon I called her to say that I'd heard from the resort and there'd been a mixup in the reservations and we got canceled! (Spring break and they're all full up, of course)
I couldn't keep a straight face for long, but boy howdy: did I get a rise out of her!

But here's the beauty of it- the child's parents will be there, too- only in a different cabin. Theirs will be the headaches associated with any shenanigans that go on. Grandma has reserved herself an oceanfront spot far distant from all of them where she can luxuriate all alone in her little trailer while the next-to-youngest generation shall we say " totes that barge, lifts that bale, tries to keep the children out of jail"...
I am, however, continuing to participate by way of being in charge of the Stash of Forbidden Foods.
Getting old does have its compensations after all!

Jim, an AC Cobra has also been my dream car since I was a kid but when you said you would get rid of your Escape 19 for that I knew the jig was up because you could buy a dozen or more Escapes for the cost of a cherry original like that. Maybe you should rename the trailer now. Good one!
Steve
