Michelle - I do still have the cushions, but not the curtains. We looked at getting new cushions, but with foam and covers, it would have cost $75 per cushion, or $300. My foam was in good shape but smelly (cats). Likewise the covers. I took the covers off, cleaned fur off them, and laundered them twice. I then went over them thoroughly with duct tape to remove residual fur, and laundered them again. The cushions I cleaned one at a time by putting them in the bathtub with hot water and cleaners (my own witch's brew) and stomped on them for a couple hours to wash and rinse. They are still drying, but seem to smell ok now. Jenny is picking out new curtain material tomorrow. I've no idea what it'll be, as that's her department, but I requested no rainbow prints. :lol

legit

Hi Paul, wonderful job you did.

Since the start of this thread I wonder what the meaning is of:
I've gone legit!
legit is not in my online dictionary.
I did some googling and found:
LEGIT - The Lesbian & Gay Immigration Task Force - Canada
But it does'n't fit in the context.
Please help me ;-))))))

Yes thats right. He chose that title because he got a Fiberglass unit and that makes him legal on this site as it is intended for owners of Fiberglass RVs.

Lex-

Legitimate.

'Legit' is short for 'legitimate.'

Interesting acronym you found, though!

It's 14h30. Temp 16C. Cloudy. Rainy. Windy.
In short: lousy weather overhere.
How are you?

Jamie - the upper cabinets are held in place by screws through the fiberglass shell, into the top of the face frame and into the shelf support rail. I was originally a bit concerned about hanging that weight on the roof, but once I got them in, I realized that since they are essentially one piece all the way around, they actually act like a header, and help support the roof.

Basic physics tells me that for an egg shape to sag in one place requires it it bow in another. The rigid cabinets help lock the egg shape in place, transferring the stress to the sidewalls, where it is a shear load. The cabinets are rock solid.
