January in Texas

Thinking of 3-4 weeks in January in Texas. Looking for suggestions as to great campgrounds. Would like to be near the gulf and will be doing some biking. Thanks for your suggestions. Lee

Padre Island. Views from the campground into the gulf. A short trip to the other side and the channel between the mainland and island.
Across the bridge is Corpus Christye. Drive to the end of the island and take the free ferry back to mainland.

Galveston, State Campground on the end of the island with views into the gulf. Drive out along the sea wall and again take the free ferry across the channel.

I believe both have a 14 day stay limit. Enjoy.
