I was complaining about the constant rain here in Scotland when I saw the footage from Joplin. It kind of puts things into perspective. May God watch over everyone affected.

As a resident of the Pacific Northwest, we are always associated with "rainy weather". After all, people in Washington State don't tan, we rust! lol. After seeing the devastation and abject misery occurring in the midwest, and particularly Missouri of late, I'll never again complain about our rainy weather. Our prayers go out to those poor unfortunate people in "Tornado Alley" in coping with all their losses. I pray for you all to find strength, comfort and guidance in these times of great tribulations. God Bless...

We've been watching the fires devour the town of Slave Lake when the tornado came along. Mind boggeling. I really feel for all those people. It's now been twenty years since one went through our city but nothing like what happened to Joplin.
