And, eventually, we all achieve 'Senile Member' status.

I do hope my youth and inexperience will not hinder my ability to add substantive comments to this forum

So it's just a senior moment. Glad to know I'll eventually upgrade to senile!

I was just cruising along, preparing to stand by, when suddenly I went from "member' to "senior member". Quite a jolt! Kinda snuck up on me. Is that similar to going from "minor" to "adult"? Do I have to be more responsible now?

Until you hit "Senile Member", yes. Then the rules change back again.

Is that when your post count begins to count down instead of up? Sounds kinda scary.

Yes smartness may come with age, so does forgetfulness, and lack of energy! Oh yes I forgot, aches pains & countless Doctor visits. Trouble with youth is it's wasted on the young !, Duane

Donna did that long ago. They just don't show because the site was hacked.

I was a senior before I was a junior is some aspects.
In the 60's my dad had a utility trailer we used to carry our tent camp equiptment, but for the some reason he couldn't back up the thing to save his life.
Me, at 13, had to back it into the site while mom would direct.

So it begs the question, do I really want to be a senior and is there anything I can do about it?
I don't have a Peter Pan complex but the thought of sliding into the golden years of forum participation is rather daunting. Does it hurt when you post? Do you forget what you've written? Is there any medication required? The answer to these and other questions await me as I type boldly into the unknown.
To those that proceed me I salute you.

We need to do something about this membership ranking - it's too simple. Would it be too Scamp-centric to award snap caps for each ten fold jump in number of posts?

Once we hit 6,500 posts we should be eligible to sign up for Trailicare.

Senior member title...
I do not know ab any other cases, but in my case, I got it after a few dozens of posts. IMO, moderators got it right on... I own my own trailer, modified it from ground up and designed my own..electrical pnls. Just let you know that I had 5-year training and work as electrical engineer over-sea, 3-year training as electrical technologist in Canada and has been employed in automobile/heavy truck industries for the last...+ 25 years...So, I think moderators got it right on and i am still learning...every single day...Share.

I really can't say as I don't remember. I can state with some authority that it has not made me any smarter or wiser as attested by my second hundred posts.
The medication thing actually sounds pretty good to me. All those people I see on TV who are taking their free sleep and arthritis prescriptions are shooting hoops and running around with their grand-kids on their shoulders and doing all kinds of fun-looking stuff; I can hardy wait. Warp factor 10 Randy!
