Just could not put the tag on my Scamp, yet
I could not bring myself to do it, not until the old Scamp is really a trailer again. I bought, registered, and obtained a new tag for it a couple of months ago. It has not been a real trailer since I took the old wheels off in preparation for the new axle several weeks ago. I installed the new axle and about have everything finished up (brake wiring, floor support off axle, welds painted, etc.) but it will be later this week before I can (afford to) buy the new tires & wheels. I finished trouble shooting the trailer lights Saturday (bad & corroded connections, blown bulbs, dirty lenses, etc.) and Sunday put the lens back on the light over the tag bracket. I thought this would be a good time to go ahead and put the tag on, but I just could not do it until it is back on wheels again!
