I just got the casita out and started getting it ready for the first trip at the end of April.

It was pretty dirty from being in the building all winter. So i hosed it off and checked the battery. Bad news there was ice in the cells. Not solid ice but had done the damage, Shorted
cell.
I took it down to get it checked and it was trashed. So i bought a new Interstate Deep cycle
27 series.
I don't know why it froze, it was charged when i put it away. It was made in 2002 i guess
4 years isin't to bad of service.

After replacing the battery i decided to to install the flat screen tv in the corner just above the tv shelf.

It is a Magnavox 17 inch and it has a built in dvd player. It is perferct for the trailer because
it actually runs on 12 volts.

I will ry to get some pictures of the install after i ger the dish mount made.

Wow! a 17" TV on 12 volts! That's going to be a nice addition for those rainy days!

I'd love to see pictures of this when you're done, Harv. I doubt I'll spring for it, but, someday when I'm retired, it would be nice to have. As for now, it's the cheapo TV/DVD set up for movies.

May I ask how much a 17: flat screen would cost?
