Just picked up lil snoozy

I'm very happy, just picked up the itza doozy, the little snoozy.

It's a beautiful trailer. I like the shape of it, the rounded front, the openness inside. It's very light and airy. I had an extra window put in, and am very happy that I added the window.

I would love to go camping now. Would love to run away with the dogs and be outside. Big problem: the heat wave is incredible here, almost a hundred degrees and a hundred percent humidity. It's hard to go anywhere, just too damn hot.

Open invitation to show off the trailer to all. Be glad to answer any questions. Might not know the answer to everything yet. I'm still figuring some things out.

I saw the prototype at the Poconos a couple of weeks ago. I'm curious about the extra window and a/c shroud. Could you post some pictures, particularly od those areas, thanx.

Everyone wishes you well with your purchase and will be waiting to get your analysis. I think an extra window was wise, I felt it needed more windows.

As to escaping the heat, the PEI rally was during the recent heat wave in New England. While were in PEI and Northern Maine we did have on day that reached 80 degrees. I told me wife if we get another heat wave it's back to PEI.

the snoozy feels very open inside. Bright and light. The couch is incredibly comfortable. The bed is extremely comfortable, and a great size. I thought there could be a problem with hitting my head on the top, but it's a non issue. there is plenty of head clearance above the bed. I wasn't sure if I liked the little table, it swings out, comes out, so far it's not an issue. The table seems fine.

I like all the counter space. that's always been a problem, here it's great. My problem will be not to completely fill the counter space with junk.

I like the storage compartment under the camper. You can access it from outside or from under the bed.

So far what I don't like: the cabinets don't have latches that make them stay shut. I have to either put child safety latches, or find a way to put magnets to keep them closed. I would also like some more cabinets around the 2 other large windows, above the windows. I can't seem to have enough cabinets. I don't want to take away the airiness of the trailer, but small cabinets above the windows might just be ok.

I don't like the generator on the tongue. I would like to have a big rubber maid box over the generator and the electric cord. I don't want to invite someone to steal the generator.

Can't wait to go camping. Will the weather please cooperate. Too hot for the beach, will have to go to the Virginia Mountains next weekend.

One more problem, it's so pretty inside, the couch is so terrific, my boyfriend doesn't want to let the dogs in the trailer. (too bad, i love to go camping with the dogs).

I suggested to Nick and this maybe you can do this is to install a shelf along the window curtain on top the window front to rear both sides. With a lip you can put a lot of stuff.
There are plenty of tongue boxes you can buy, will the generator fit inside the storage under the bed?
Lowes/Home Depot have a variety of locking latches that will keep the cabinets shut.
Are they going to send you a a/c shroud once completed?

Our Egg Camper carries our generator on the tongue also. I have secured it with a bicycle cable lock and hide it with a propane tank cover. Nobody thinks a thing about propane on the tongue. Since our trailer is all electric we have no propane except a small tank for the portable grill and the camp stove.

here's the other side. I debated putting in one of the smaller windows in the bed area, finally decided it just wasn't worth it there. Where the writing is on this side, is where the bathroom is. Below the window towards the front, is where the fresh water hook up is, and the place to fill the tank. There are also outdoor electrical plugs.

Alan said that they would do all the upgrades for us, especially the latch for the refrigerator (to keep it from opening in travel) and the cover for the air conditioner. It sounds like they will take good care of us. I'm planning another trip to S Carolina in Sept or October to have it done.

I like the idea of a shelf above the window curtains. That's a great idea. I also like the idea of a bicycle lock, and a propane cover for the generator. There is enough room in the storage area under the bed for the generator, but don't know if I want to move the generator myself, yet.

I got a plain fan for the roof, and am now sorry that I didn't get a fantastic fan. I have to ask and see if they can upgrade that for me. I think the fantastic fan is stronger.
