Trailer: Bonair Oxygen 2002

Hi all,
We've just moved 'up' from the tenting world and have purchased a 2002 Bonair Oxygen.
We found it locally with about 7 hours of towing on it. It had only been used three times and to the closest provincial park. Like new off the floor.
It's a beauty offering us everything we need .
I know Bonair (Peak) has been closed since 2004, so if anyone else out there has an Oxygen or can offer us tips/info etc. it would be much apprecialted.
Thanks,
Trevor and Tracy

Here are some inside shots...camera is a little tough to get long shots of.
This is an amazing unit! We absolutely love it and can't wait to go on our first trip in May.
Stillwater/Hudson area for 'our' May long weekend.

Another Bonair Oxygen...totally cool
Oh, I was soooo excited I forgot to say WELCOME to FiberglassRV
Here's some member names for you:
Norman and Jean Mulloy are probably the most active Oxygen owners.
Pete Drewcock is another Oxygen owner
Angela L., yet another one.
If you click on any of those names, you'll go to a profile page and you can either PM or send an e-mail to the member...if they have an e-mail addy.

Wow, what a nice trailer!
Welcome to the fiberglass web site. This new camper of yours will sure beat tenting. When it rains out, no one will have to stand there with this set up (umbrella in hand) as you pack up. Congradulations on your new purchase. I LOVE it!

That is a real beauty, congratulations. It is lovely.
The one thing that I noticed, right away, is that there is a good working space between the sink and stove. Now that is rare in an egg !
Tell us about your new adventures. Happy Trails, Penny.

It's 19 feet and about 6.5 ft wide approx.
19' tongue to tail that is. I'd say the actual cabin is about 15'.

I've always thought the Bonair Oxygen is just about the coolest looking of the fiberglass eggs!
Does yours have a toilet/shower?
A pal of mine once saw one in a state park in SC, but the owner was not around to show him the inside of it.

It has the toilet only. The whole stall is fiberglass though and it probably wouldn't take much to install. I've read somewhere on these forums about someone who installed one, but I don't think we'd want to nor have the need to use it. It'll end up being more closet space more likely. The toilet will come in handy at night though.

I'm trying to imagine a perfect tow vehicle for it, one that would be complementary, as in an art form.
AMC Pacer?
Ford Taurus?
Cadillac El Dorado?

WELL, WELL, WELL, HELLO THERE
Glad to account for another one! 5 so far!
Did you get it from a recent widow in Northern Ont? I talked to one last year, when someone here was asking for an O2.
This beats tenting all to heck. I see you don't have those bed side cushions in place. They are one thing you can leave home without. Unless you have a big crowd in, and some need to sit on your bed. They are interesting to look at, but not to live with.
Welcome here and glad you are joining us with another O2.

I think it was Pete Drewcock who installed a shower in his Oxygen. When he doesn't turn the water on, I'm pretty sure its a closet.

Hi Jean,
Yes we did buy it from Susan. She is such a nice lady and just never got to use it.
The bedside cushions are in plastic in the laundry room. I don't expect we'll need them any time soon. If I don't have them in the trailer, then nobody will be able to stay in there with us (too bad ha ha).
Any tips or things to watch for with ours? From your own experience with yours.
Trevor
