I just added an avatar, and testing to see if it comes through. It is one of my little puppies.
Hope it works. I am up tonight waiting for Daisy's first litter of puppies to be born (anytime now), so playing with the computer to see what I can actually put on here. Testing now for avatar

You'll have to change it to get in the puppies!

Hope she's a good Mamma! My sister Jack Russel just had ONE puppy on T.Giving day.

Daisy just had the first one, a little girl. I had another dog have one pup last week. She stepped on him 3 days later and killed him accidently. Hope I have better luck this time with this litter.

Now I am going to experiment getting pictures of my camper here. Wish me luck.

Now, if this one works, I will try to post pictures of the September Fiberglass weekend in Lanesboro. Again, wish me luck

Hmmm. When I click on the thumbnail, I get a bigger picture with the "expand" button in the bottom right. When I click on that I get a much bigger picture and when I right click on the picture and call up Properties, it tells me that this picture is 1280x960 pixels and is 312Kb.

Wassup with that?

When you click on some pictures you only get a slightly larger picture, this is supersized. Easy to look at detail on this one.

Is this some sort of fallout of pixels per inch conversion or something?

I think it has to do with the size of the pic when it was uploaded. Obviously, if it was small when it was uploaded, it can't be "supersized" by clicking on it.

We're working on optimizing size limits. This upgrade handles it much better than before, but we still want to be sure the site downloads smoothly for a variety of systems, browsers, and connection rates.

I appreciate standarized, smaller but completey viewable pics. I'm on dialup and some of the larger pictures take so long to load, I can fix dinner, eat and cleanup the kitchen before they're totally viewable

The slow-link issue is important, and not just because it applies to me at times! I suppose that the ideal setup would be the current "thumbnails" for all images larger than the thumbnail size, a link to the full image for those who are willing to wait for it (with some display of what that size will be), and a separate link to a version scaled to the standard size by the server for those with limited bandwidth. It would mean either more storage on the server for the extra image, or more processing work to scale images as requested; it would also be a capability that presumably does not currently exist in Invision Power Board, but those doing the work of the upgrade would know far more about this than I.

Information is good. Lack of information is not so good, but misinformation is much worse. Check facts, and apply common sense liberally.

Hmmmm, my pictures came out to big, huh?! I was soooo excited to finally get to post them. I clicked and they went on. That did not happen on the old board site. Sorry if these are to big. Wish I knew how to shrink them!

What is the purpose of what looks like a fenced area around the hitch of the trailer? Is that a pen for the dogs? Oops...At first look I thought that it was just around the hitch but after another look I see that it is a pen....Benny
