Temperature has risen to 2 degrees. It's wet and heavy.

2 degrees with wet n heavy snow?

In U.S. currency that equates to 35.6 degrees F.

We got 6 to 8" of snow and temps down to 4 below zero F this weekend
After looking at your pictures , I feel very fortunate.
I spent 8 hours last night and this morning shoveling snow but it is the light fluffy stuff.
Good Luck digging out !!

** Look at the bright side ,it's still better than the 100 deg F with 100% humidity that they get in the South ***

How did the car get that high without sinking in, if it is ice and hard enough to support a car it certainly can not be touched by a snow blower....

Snow plow did go through at 6 AM but haven't seen him since...
In a warming spell with +22
That's up from -2 on Saturday night so maybe I will BBQ.
If the town would only come plow the 8 inches out of the road so I can go sno-blo and get to grill in Garage.

It's all in the perspective. The deep snow is only in the foreground
The car is on a street that's been plowed ?????

Yeah Wayne is right. The snowblower has cut a path thru the snow in the driveway and was stopped before the road. Car is across the street.

They have gotten about a foot more and two feet coming in the next couple of days. They call Michigan the Winter Wonderland. We average 200 inches a year I'm guessing. Lots of 300 inchers too.

Preach it, Brother!
I'm about to the pointI can't tolerate the low 80s/high 70s with the high humidity. Makes me crabby.
I can always add another layer of clothing in the cold, but if I have to strip nekkid to deal with the heat I'll still feel hot plus frighten the horses in the streets!

When we first retired , we as many others who live in the North went South in the winter. After 3 years we gave up on the idea.
Trading cold and snow for hot ,humid and miserable was a poor bargain in our estimation especially after having to drive 1800 miles
I just spent 3 hours shoveling snow . The temps are around zero with no wind . I enjoy the tranquility of being outdoors on a snowy evening , enjoying a good cigar , and getting some exercise.
My wife bought me a snowblower for Christmas but I don't know how much I will use it . I get too much enjoyment out of shoveling.
