Hi: I just checked "The Boler Story" over on the other site...and the reporter spelled the mold makers name Sandor Dussa.

I happened to spot a Boler at San Simeon Creek SP Fri Oct 1st. It was occupied by a nice couple from Alberta. It was red and white and they said it was a 1981. They were pulling with a Buick cute-ute. It looked like a 13 footer to me. They knew of this Forum, but were not regular readers of it.

What would be the appeal of a new Boler? Should it be a replica of an early vintage or a later, improved version? Would it be better than a Scamp or any other brand currently made? I can appreciate the benefits of a small camper in general. Just curious.

BTW, if you go to San Simeon Creek SP, be prepared for hungry raccoons, four at once. And they can definitely open an ice chest!

Personally, one thing I really like about the 70's trailers was the 'character'... the trailer colors, the layouts etc.. I find the newer trailers a bit bland.. generic I would say. But I also prefer old Victorian style houses over new vinyl boxes =)

Maybe a nostalgia thing, eh? I'm glad someone knows where the molds are.

Canadian Dodge came out with the Fargo PU.
I was in Istanbul in 1990 or 91, and there was a Fargo dealer with the Chrysler pentagon displayed. I should have gone in and asked where they were made.

According to this site, all Canadian Fargo trucks were manf in Canada, and the rest were made in USA for domestic and foreign markets.

In this ad, the Fargo/DeSoto/whatever van looks like a Sprinter...

Well here's the kicker folks....
Brian contacted Scamp(Eveland's Inc.) and asked about this 'Bolor thing' and it seems it was bogus info, as no one at Scamp knew ANYTHING about a NEW Bolor least of all ANY deliverys into Canada.

Thus, I stand CORRECTED (on my other foot), sorry for the confusion
Well, that begs the question . . . just what was it you saw? How was it identified? Did it have decals? or a painted on name? anything that said Boler? Very strange
