Let's See Some Winter Pix!

Does anybody have any pix of their eggs with a coating of snow? I remember an absolutely gorgeous pix last year of a Uhaul maybe? It had a ton of snow on the roof and the windows and looked like a post card. It was beautiful and on the home page for awhile. Would help some of us in the South dealing with 80+ degree temps get into the Holiday Mood, lol.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYBODY!!

Melissa

Happy Thanksgiving!
Three (measured) inches over here in Fairway Estates (M'Ridge).
Our trailer is still nesting in our R/V parking area and I haven't ventured the 1/8 mile walk (YET) to go check things out.

Middle of a cold snap with high everything (wind, rain, snow, temperature) warnings in effect.

Happy Thanksgiving to our American neighbours.

Yup, snowing in the Vancouver area (oh, joy - and I have to go deep into Vancouver this afternoon...new, good snows on the Subaru though)

Here's my lonely Trillium sitting in the back yard (keeping the utility trailer and my son's MR2 company)

This mushy transitional snow we get here really isn't any fun to drive in - unless you're the ONLY person on the road. People here, or at least those that haven't been here for many years, still deny the need for good winter tread. It makes getting around for the first day or so, miserable.

Thanks!
Yes, it's sitting on the flat roof of our garage on cement post blocks and then the actual posted are attached to our wooden retaining wall with lag bolts.
I was worried at first that the wind might whistle through there and blow away the awning but we have had a few nasty winter wind storms and the thing hasn't budged. We are planning on residing the garage in the future and at that point we may add some angled anchor 2X4's from the awning roof to the side wall of the garage.
I did most of the work on building this awning, you can check it out here:

Cheers!

The lake is starting to freeze here so I imagine after Christmas we will be seeing the fishing houses on the ice. Not my kind of fishing.

Beautiful! I think all ya'll's pix made Florida jealous so we got a "cold front". We're enjoying temps in the 50's now with a high going up to 64. Tonight's low will be back into the 40's. We went to Cracker Barrel for B'fast just so we could enjoy their huge fireplace. NOW it's campin' weather!

That looks like AZ to me. My folks just arrived there from WY last week. They are in Mesa now in an RV Park there.

I will be going home to 7" of snow but the Scampster will be staying behind. Our creek will be beautiful.

How about this surprise in the morning of Feb 23, 2010 in the campground at Davis Mtn, TX State Park? The temp was 18 f. We cleaned off the ice and snow from the car and drove all the way to Las Cruces, NM that day!

We're going to FT. Worth, TX for Christmas to visit the in-laws, maybe we'll see some white stuff too! My 7 y/o has never seen snow and my 14 y/o has only seen it once. Sure wish we had our own Egg now so we'd have private "guest quarters". We'll be sharing a house with 18 people and 2 bathrooms, LOL. Was going to tour the Casita Factory but they shut down over Christmas.
