Lg white trim for doors

Does anyone know the exact length ya need to replace this white trim around the door? it says Lienear ft? Is that longer or shorter than a reg foot measurment....

That IS a regular foot measurement. It's "linear" feet, meaning "in a line" (as opposed to square feet or cubic feet).

So, just measure in a line (in feet), and use decimals for the inches. 3" is 1/4 of a foot, or .25 feet....

Be sure to get more than you think you will need. I've found what I measure and what really fits are not the same.

I just called them and asked how many feet.. I couldnt measure good enough with the curve of the door... kent said that they 5er uses 13.5 ft so I ordered a foot more.. plus will replace the door hinge.. brass ball, spring and nuts..... also.....

Christi, the bolt and nut on the Scamp hinge is plain-ole steel. It's recommended to replace with stainless, so you don't get rust running down the door at a later date. And use stainless to mount the hinge to both door and trailer.

That's right. That bolt and nut are steel. Take them to your local hardware store and have someone help match them up to stainless. That's what you want to use.

The spring is plain steels too. It's taken a couple years for mine to start rusting, but it's not as wet here.
