Look at this thing
Pretty cool, I think. Could definitely be modified to make a nice little camper.

Zach, at one time I believe that Century Link company in our area may have had Little Joe RV make the shell, but I don't know if someone else supplies the very stout frame with double axles.

There are usually a few of these on Ebay of various brands.
They are Fiber Optic Cable Slicing Trailers.

I looked at the brochure for it, the standard finished weight is 3900 lbs.

Hey!
I can't figure out if that includes some standard electrical equipment or if it's just the basic trailer. That would be really heavy otherwise...

These are not made to be lightweight RVs they are portable Clean Room Workstations and are designed to do one thing and optimized for it completely and are pulled with big block utility company trucks into bad spots a lot of the time.
I have looked at some used ones and they get pretty beat up just doing the job too.
The RVs that are made by the same companies,Little Joe at least are nowhere near as heavy duty as these working trailers.

I don't think Pelsue and Weis Craft are connected, except their trailers look very similarly shaped.
Weis Craft (Little Joe) are manufactured in Henderson, Colorado
Pelsue is manufactured in Englewood, Colorado

Right but there are several manufacturers of splicing rigs and they are more alike than different even fiberglass vs aluminum models really.
I am just saying that these are tools not toys like ours are.

I see those every once and awhile being pulled by phone company trucks.
