Looking for a free picture hosting page

I am looking for a free photo web page that will host photos so that I can both show people and possibly use the photos for eBay.

Does anyone have a good web page that will host photos for free?

I used to have a good one but now they want to charge for hosting photos.

Any ideas would be gladly received.

Thanks!

try this one

Try www.hpphoto.com It will give you a link to post to an auction (each link is good for 3 months I think)

Hey Rick

How goes the battle? Please try me one more time via e-mail. When I see it I will take it off the deleted or blocked e-mails. Sometimes these new things get so difficult they aren't worht it.

Sorry and I will have to check out webshots again.

free

Steve, your IP host for email should have some free web space for you. Have you asked?

At risk of sounding blunt why don't you want to pay for a service you will use?

Steve,

Hosting photos, like we do here, costs for computer storage & bandwidth. Photos shown transfering across the internet costs somebody for the time/space used. It must be recouped someway.

This site is supported by volunteer gifts from members that enjoy the site.

The hp site hopes you will buy their photo service. Also, they attract people to their site to gain customers to their products - Marketing.

Your dial up service probably gives you some hosting as part of your service. I would suggest looking into that.

Steve, I noticed you are using Geocities for your other interests. Did you run out of space?

I hope this helps,
webguy

If you are selling things on e-bay to make money, then you should pay to have your photos hosted. You have to spend money to make money. Thas what we do.

Let's see

First yes I do have a geocities account which ran out of space very quick and only lets a limited amount of people see that web page. I would like to get a better set up so that more people can veiw the web page like family members. Geocities limits the amount of times you can access a web page.

I do use e-bay but on a very limited basis so it is not like I will be using the service as a free for all to make the big dollars. Just once in a great while it would make it easier to use instead of paying for a service that really I would intend to make money with. The amount of times I use eBay for is so limited I would loose money if I were to pay for a service and it just isn't worth it.

As for say using the HP site I use and have a few HP components and software so I see using there site as just a perk for what I have spent on them in the past. I just found out that HP has a site that lets you post photos and I will.

And let's face it why pay for something when you can use the same thing for free. These companies that offer free web pages for use of hosting photos do get something from our use. It gets advertizement for thier site. Usually you will see on the photo the host site URL address to bring in new and more photos and possible customers so I see it as a win win deal. I use it for free and they get free advertizing.

And as my saying goes... If it's for free it's for me!:)
