No, not really.
We owned a 19 foot Aerolite before getting our
Casita. We thought that it was fiberglass but when we tried to patch it like fiberglass discovered that it wasn't quite true. Also the walls are still stick built with the panels attached unlike our fiberglass trailers that are one piece.
Our aerolite after about 40,000 miles was over two inches longer just by the vibration shaking the staples enough to cause the walls to separate a little at each joint. Don't get me wrong, we loved our trailer and used it a lot. We just wanted something that was also fiberglass on the floor and roof and wouldn't get dry rot.
We even looked at a cub but as we travel a lot and sometimes stop in rest areas or Wally's we want to not have an easy access to our inside. They allowed us to test a trailer and in one rest area we woke to an arm coming up through the canvas. After beating arm and screaming loudly the person ran off and we took the trailer back and said, give us a hard sided trailer.
Also be aware that the bed panels do not have locks on them only quick releases so if you stop at a store, anyone can drop down the panels and have access to your trailer.
