Hi everyone, I have been away from things for a while but got a chance to get back to my Boler and need something. The person who I purchased it from took the top off of the original 9 inch metal roof vent. The base is still there but he put a solar panel over it and just covered it with a screen. I wanted to make the panel movable so that when I camp I can park the trailer in the shade and put the panel in the sun. But rather than rip out the old vent I was wondering if anyone might have one of the old ones I could purchase? I figure someone might have one laying around after installing one of those kool fantastic fans.... I have the four sides that go straight up and that is all. figure I need the crank mechanism and lid.

To install one of the new plastic ones I would have to cut out the extra gel coat that was put around the base when he did what he did. But think that the old lid and crank might go together??? Just wanted something easy for a change :-)

Yes!

Your photo is great and what is left of mine look just like that. Base with 4 sides goinf up to the screen. It is in good shape (even the screen) and I think I can re-attach the lid.

Yes that is it!.. I have the base 4 sides and the screen. I see where the hinge(S) and crank maybe on the front side were attached with rivets when he pull the old top off. opposite that side I see two holes that look like it is where something was attached (maybe a latch that I can see on the open side of your photo?)
